A Sunlit Path turns 3! Love and commitment to the journey

It was clear even before we opened our doors three years ago on this exact day that A Sunlit Path is a divinely guided space. This has since become increasingly more apparent as it continues to blossom in increasingly trying times. We are grateful to exist and keep offering hope and a way ahead in this long battle against ignorance and falsehood. Let us continue to surrender to the Light within us and have faith in where it’s taking us.

A Sunlit Path emerged from the deep soul-calling of Sudha Suthanthiram, whose unwavering love and faith have been the heartbeat of its creation. Guided by an inner light, Sudha has poured herself into every facet of this sacred space—curating, organizing, hosting, and tending to the countless details that allow A Sunlit Path to flourish. Her devotion continues to shape this center as a haven for healing, transformation and community.

Gokul Chakravarthy

A Sunlit Path would not be what it is without the generous spirit and creative brilliance of Gokul Chakravarthy. His artistic vision has shaped the very look and feel of our space—from the evocative design of our posters to the soulful storytelling in our videos. Beyond the visible, Gokul’s thoughtful guidance and multifaceted support flow through nearly every aspect of our work. His talent, heart, and joyful presence are woven into the fabric of A Sunlit Path.

Selvi Sudanthi

No gathering at A Sunlit Path feels truly complete without the nourishing touch of Selvi Sudanthi, Sudha’s mother. Her quiet, steadfast faith in the vision of A Sunlit Path continues to be one of our most cherished blessings. Her lovingly prepared meals bring warmth and comfort to our retreats and events. Though she remains behind the scenes, her care is felt deeply by our artists, facilitators, and guests alike.

Niloy Ahsan

Niloy Ahsan’s presence carries the depth of ancient wisdom and the power of subtle transformation. Through Dhrupad, he offers a space where silence, devotion, and resonance come alive. For the past three years, we at A Sunlit Path have been fortunate to have his steady presence among us. Niloy has helped us touch lives in ways that words cannot fully express.

DHRUPAD TAKES ROOT IN AUROVILLE

One of the biggest blessings of this 3-year journey has been the slow and sure establishment of Dhrupad in Auroville.  It feels like its natural home, a place where it can truly shine by helping us more swiftly embody a new consciousness for a new world.

We wish to thank Niloy Ahsan and the many more artists who showed up and deepened the roots of Dhrupad in Auroville, Aurelio of Svaram for his continued support, Veronika and Mita for working to integrate it into the Tomatis program and to all the seekers who were drawn to partake with us in this profound approach to sound. It has been very gratifying to manifest this dream for we are assured it serves the ultimate purpose of our existence.

A SUNLIT PATH TRAVELS TO GALICIA, SPAIN

This summer A Sunlit Path will travel to Galicia, Spain! We will operate from the self-organized residency project and event space Bravos Foundry. All those called to visit, volunteer or host a retreat in Galicia are most welcome to reach out to us.
