The spiritual significance of the pink, double rose (Rosa “Edward”) is Surrender: “To will what the Divine wills is the supreme wisdom”
Trusting the divine will and surrendering to it meant accepting peacefully back in April that we may have to move out and equally peacefully when we found a way to stay. Then, in the quiet months of May and June, it meant surrendering to the severe heat and pausing classes, trusting that eventually we will find a way to be sustainable through the summers.
During the trip (more below) that ensued amidst the pause, what came alive was the feeling of love and gratitude to be in/near Auroville and for the existence of A Sunlit Path. We surrender to this.
