May & June 2023 Newsletter - Surrendering to what is
The spiritual significance of the pink, double rose (Rosa “Edward”) is Surrender: “To will what the Divine wills is the supreme wisdom”
Trusting the divine will and surrendering to it meant accepting peacefully back in April that we may have to move out and equally peacefully when we found a way to stay. Then, in the quiet months of May and June, it meant surrendering to the severe heat and pausing classes, trusting that eventually we will find a way to be sustainable through the summers.
During the trip (more below) that ensued amidst the pause, what came alive was the feeling of love and gratitude to be in/near Auroville and for the existence of A Sunlit Path. We surrender to this.
In the mood for Bali
A trip to Bali was decided upon in order to explore opportunities for collaboration and growth for A Sunlit Path with organizations there during the summers. It was beautiful, challenging and hopeful and we are happy to share more with anyone that enquires.
Website mini-makeover
We have given our website a mini-makeover, with a newly organised menu and a more vibrant look to many of the pages. We feel it better reflects who we’ve organically grown to be from conception to now.

The guest rooms upstairs are fully functional and available for online booking. We have 7 rooms on the first floor, 2 rooms on the ground floor and 1 stand-alone hut. All rooms have an attached bathroom and the rooms upstairs have a shared kitchen and terrace. These single, double or triple rooms can be booked on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Just search for Perumal’s Guesthouse on booking.com to book your stay with us and come downstairs for the morning yoga, evening kirtan or night forest walk. We would love to have you here with us!
Join us
If you are a fellow creative light seeker passionate about shining light for people around the world, please join us. We are growing and expanding our team to rise to new possibilities. We are currently looking for four heartful souls to handle:
Administration & Hosting - handle registrations, oversee setup of space for events, schedule bookings of private sessions, put up flyers, update mailing list and phone list, handle communication via phone calls, whatsapp, social media and in person during events
Marketing - social media marketing (flyers, reels, basic content writing, etc), reach out to potential collaborators, handle SEO of website, etc
Videography - create videos/reels that tell the many stories behind A Sunlit Path waiting to be shared
Technical - Update and handle any issues with Squarespace website, setup online streaming for classes, handle online membership and content, find improvements to existing setup
